Its almost officially time for our "day jobs" to take a hike for 3 weeks.
Then it's family madness, eating too much, crowded malls and markets, spending too much money and just all around joy (hopefully)
Now... firstly we'd just like to say that John (Nuclear Design) has landed safely in the UK for his 4 week trip there.
And CJ (Heresy Inc.) will only be around for the next few weeks, with complete and utter shutdown between the 1st of Jan 2012 and 6th Jan 2012.
We'll be working over gtalk and email for the next few weeks to finalise things and get things ready for kickoff from mid January 2012.
Some of the things that we've been working on:
- finalising AT LEAST 4 defenite shirt designs
- discussing a small jewellery range (for reals!)
- markets we'll be attending for the start of 2012
- finalising the website (what we've seen till now is just..... WOW....we are sooooo excited)
- putting up samplers on our BigCartel store for you to see what direction we're going in for the first range
- finalising Blog and Bigcartel banners and setups and colours
It's still a long road ahead, and still many things that we're busy with, but excited we are!
Regarding the jewellery (before we end off today's update).
We are aiming at using aluminium and sterling silver components with either acrylic or resin. There are so many things that still need to be discussed and decided on. Please be patient!
One of the amazing resin artists we've started looking at working with is Lunaricsales, whether or not we finalise with her, PLEASE go squiz through her store and BUY! she is truly an AMAZING arteest (she doesn't just do jewellery either!), remember to check out the photo prints and shirts in her store too.
